eggnog french toast

Anyone that knows me, knows I’m a food lover. Sure, I like fitnessy things but food is my true love. That’s why I’m mixing things up today.

Instead of an article about training or training, I’m giving you a recipe for french toast—eggnog french toast.

I’m all caught up in the spirit of the season. This recipe is a gift from me to you. Eggnog french toast is amazing. It’s got all the festive flavors of Christmas in the form of french toast, smells amazing, and tastes like holiday magic.

How to Make the Eggnog French Toast

The recipe itself is straightforward and simple. Here’s how it’s done.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 TBS sugar
  • 4 whole eggs
  • ¼ cup eggnog
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • Butter (to grease pan)
  • Bread of choice

Instructions:

  1. Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
  2. Set a medium-sized skillet over medium heat.
  3. Whisk cinnamon mixture, eggs, eggnog, and vanilla.
  4. Pour into a shallow container (I like a pie dish).
  5. Dip bread in the mixture and fry both sides until golden brown.
  6. Serve with whatever toppings tickle your fancy.

It’s that easy. And as simple as it is to make, it’s even more delicious. Enjoy the festive flavors of the holiday season, then share it with family and friends.

Because in the end, that’s what the holidays are all about—good food and better company.
